What is this all about?

Lynn tells us:

Thank you so much for your interest in 'Their Future Today'.

We are currently finishing off our website www.theirfuturetoday.com which will give you all our information soon.

In a nutshell though, I have been raising money since visiting a state run institution in Sri Lanka which houses 50+ babies and infants under 5 years old.

The conditions for these little ones was horrific and in the past five years we have now restored the whole building, continue with repairs and maintenance, employ seven extra workers, provide all essential supplies including food, baby milk, clothing, bedding, medicine and medical assistance. (The governments contribution is never enough to cover the needs).

As a small charity we have been successful in obtaining permission from Government locally to spend our funds directly.

My 13 yr old son made a short video film last year for a presentation which you can find on You Tube just put 'Joel Stanier' into Google or 'Their Future Today' and you will find it.

'Their Future Today' has since built a little house for the little girl in the film and her brother, (who was in another orphanage) and we found their mother (who was homeless in the jungle) and reunited the family,  freeing these children from a lifetime in Institutions, changing their lives forever. They now go to a nearby school together and we provide funds for their continued education.

Having now seen the difference we are making to so many children's lives and even the benefit to house mothers who are also now able to send their own children to school with the money they earn, the whole environment in this most dismal place has been completely transformed. (Two of our housemothers were orphans themselves in another institution and we are now giving them some financial independence where there future would have been hopeless.)

We are dedicated to continue raising funds and improving lives for more children living in unacceptable conditions, and where possible to reunite families who have been driven apart through poverty. We do not consider this as a gesture of charity but an act of human justice.

Thank you so much for your interest
